Lily needs a loving home, ideally without other dogs. I’m currently fostering her temporarily, and I can tell you she’s an incredibly sweet dog! Lily is a “Velcro dog,” meaning she loves to be by your side most of the time. She gets along wonderfully with cats—she was with five cats yesterday, happily wagging her tail the entire time. Lily adores people and is fully crate trained. While I'm home, she has free reign of the house, but she finds comfort in her crate, especially when I’m away or during bedtime. At night, she willingly stays in her crate, even with the gate open, until I wake up. Her crate will go with her to her new home.
Lily is very calm indoors, showing no signs of chewing or destructive behavior. I’ve only heard her bark once in the four days she’s been with us. She’s fully potty trained and would make a wonderful companion. Lily is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and weighs around 45 lbs. She’s also chipped.
Lilly just needs someone to be her special person, someone she can love with all her heart (and vice versa). She’s a Red Heeler mix and is content with minimal activity. A fenced yard would be ideal for her, and she enjoys going on walks, where she’s a dream to handle. She’s obedient and follows commands like sit, stay, and heel. Even if she gets out the door, she hasn’t tried to leave my yard—when I call her name, she comes right back.
It’s extremely important to find the perfect forever home for Lily. She’s an amazing companion, and though we’re not entirely sure, we’ve been told she’s likely between 9 and 10 years old. Could Lily be the perfect dog for you, or do you know someone who could be her forever family? Please consider giving this sweet girl the loving home she deserves.
