And when it’s time to write an offer, I already know what the seller cares about, so we can come in strong without overpaying.

“Wait… I have to sign something BEFORE I go see houses?? 🏡🤨”

I’ve been getting this question a lot lately, so here’s the quick explanation

Because of recent changes from the NAR settlement, buyers may now be asked to sign a buyer agreement before touring homes.

Before, a lot of buyers started looking at houses without ever really talking about who represented them, what their agent was doing for them, or how compensation worked behind the scenes.

Now, the goal is more transparency from the beginning.

That agreement can outline things like:
• who you’re working with
• what services your agent provides
• how compensation works
• how long the agreement lasts

And no, this doesn’t automatically mean you’re locked into something forever. Agreements can vary depending on the situation and brokerage, and you should always feel comfortable asking questions before signing.

My goal is never to rush anyone into paperwork, I want my buyers to understand exactly what they’re signing and feel confident before we even step into the first house 🤍
