Integra-Peak Management is seeking an individual with exceptional maintenance skills to fill our part-time Apartment Maintenance Technician and role at our apartment community in DeKalb, TX.
12 hours per week starting at $15.00/ hr, depending on experience. Opportunity for more hours periodically, and evaluation of compensation at year-end.
WE WILL ALSO CONSIDER A CONTRACTOR to fill this position at a higher rate if you have a similar business with other work elsewhere.

In this role, you must have working knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service including the ability to troubleshoot problems and provide superior customer service.
You will work as part of a professional management team with your site manager, respond to maintenance issues, follow up with residents and office staff, and handle routine issues for appliances, and building upkeep. Some after-hour emergency calls are required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will be a valuable member of the maintenance team. You will be responsible for checking, troubleshooting, and making routine repairs in the following areas:
1. Appliances
2. HVAC
3. Electrical
4. Plumbing
5. Carpentry
6. Other building maintenance items including painting, drywall, etc.
In addition to the skills listed above, technicians will work in accordance with the Property Manager on key control, directing and overseeing outside contractors, and on supply purchasing and expense control.
You will deal directly and consistently with the residents at our properties to diagnose and resolve issues. Resolving issues must be done in time and in an efficient manner – both timely and accurately with a sense of urgency and customer focus.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: The successful Apartment Maintenance Technician ideally will have have apartment and / or residential maintenance experience. This individual must be presentable with excellent communication skills. Proper conduct is essential.
Additionally:
1. High level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations
2. Capable of performing sustained manual labor
3. May require overtime, holiday, and weekend work
4. Must be on-call
5. Requires ownership of hand tools
6. Ability to work in inclement weather
7. Great time management skills
8. Background checks are an employment requirement

COVID-19 RESPONSE UPDATE (mid-June)

Dear Residents,

We wanted to keep you informed of the latest measures your apartment community and Integra-Peak Management are taking during the current health crisis caused by the COVID-19 virus.

OFFICE NOW OPEN BY APPOINTMENT
Offices are now open to in-person visits by appointment only. Visitors/Residents please contact the manager via email/Facebook/phone to set appointments. Remote and/or telephone visits are still encouraged where equally effective. In order to keep you and our staff safe we respectfully ask that all visitors/residents wear mask and use sanitizer when in the office (mask will be provided if needed). We will allow time between appointments to sanitize office.

INSPECTIONS & MAINTENANCE
Maintenance staff may now resume working on all requests, in order of priority determined by site manager. Residents will be screened at time they call to place work order and/or prior to the maintenance entering apartment. Regularly scheduled unit inspections will restart in July, and regular pest control service will resume ASAP if it has not already.

PLAYGROUNDS & POOLS OPEN
Once properly sanitized, playgrounds are now open. We ask for adults present to maintain safe social distancing and/or wear masks. Pools will be open at limited capacity, by appointment only. You may sign up for a 2-hour time slot, no more than two parties at a time. This is to comply with state-mandated restrictions. Your cooperation is important to ensure the pool will remain open.

COMMUNITY AREAS AND EVENTS
At this time, all common areas will remain closed to protect the health and safety of our residents, above all else. We continue to sanitize the leasing office daily, including door handles, railings, bathrooms, and other frequently touched surfaces.

COVID-19 CASES: WHAT TO DO
If an resident has been is confirmed to have COVID-19, or is quarantined due to pending test results or direct exposure to an infected person, we urge you to notify site management immediately. Your information and identity will be kept confidential, and the information will only be used in order to assist, and responsibly inform health & safety precautions.
