Some stories don’t take a million twists and turns… they just feel right from the very beginning.

I met Jeff and Jean at an open house. They were looking casually. We’re curious, and weighing two big paths: build from the ground up or find something new that was already done. And honestly? It didn’t take long to figure it out.

Because sometimes you don’t need to see everything… you just know.

Watching their excitement wasn’t a slow burn. It was immediate, and never wavered. The kind of feeling I hope every buyer gets to experience.

And soon, we will work together to complete this chapter by selling their current Two Rivers home on to someone new to love it just as much.

Sometimes I look at pictures of younger me and think… she’d be a little shocked at how full life is now.

Motherhood. Work I love. Schedules. Responsibilities. And about 47 thoughts running through my brain at all times trying to keep it all balanced.

Something I’ve learned along the way is that our brains have a built in filter. It’s called the reticular activating system. Basically, it can’t process everything around us, so it decides what to highlight. ✨

And it tends to highlight whatever we tell it matters.

If we focus on what feels overwhelming or impossible, our brain will keep finding proof of that. But when we stay open to possibility, we start noticing opportunities we may have missed before.

Honestly, this perspective helps in every part of life. Motherhood, work, relationships… and yes, even the way I look at real estate.

Little me probably didn’t see all this coming, but I think she’d be pretty proud of the life we’re building.🤍

Humans naturally look for the negative, we are hard wired that way. Are you someone who naturally looks for the positive, or is that something you have to work at? I know I have to be intentional about it sometimes. It’s amazing how much can shift when we change what we’re looking for.💫

Be honest… are you naturally optimistic, or do you have to redirect your brain sometimes too?
