Today we remember and honor the lives lost and all those affected by September 11, 2001, 25 years ago.
On this day, I stayed home from school for an orthodontist appointment ๐ฆท
The news was on the tv as we were rushing to leave the house.
The news was reporting of an explosion at the first tower. I remember pausing with my mom to watch what they were saying. The journalist was discussing the different possibilities of what happened as we watched on live television ๐บ as a plane โ๏ธ drove right into the second tower behind the newscaster.
Iโll never forget that moment.
Afterwards, I remember friends who were seniors in high school enlisted into the armed forces, wanting to stand up for country because of this day. ๐บ๐ธ
