🏈✨ Wow, what an emotional night as we witnessed Cody play his last high school football game. As a parent, you prepare for this moment, but nothing can truly prepare you for the wave of emotions that hit when the final whistle blows.

From fourth grade to now, Cody has given it his all, and I’m so grateful for the incredible coaches who have shaped him into the leader and motivator he is today. Coach Laney, Coach Moore, Coach Griff and the entire Divine Child staff – thank you for nurturing not just his athletic abilities, but his character.

Even though we came up short against the defending champion, Harper Woods, we left everything on the field, and gave them all they could handle, I couldn’t be prouder. The accolades and awards are special, but what matters most is the young man Cody is becoming.

Julie and I are so thankful for the decision to send him to Divine Child. This journey has been unforgettable, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for Cody. As Coach Moore said, the recruiting season starts now – I have no doubt great things are ahead!
