Everyone I meet in my office or out and about, asks me what I do. While most agents say "I'm in real estate" my answer, is quite different. Simply put, I'm here to see that my parents have a GREAT retirement! It is very rare that children get to put this kind of focus on insuring the future of the family that has supported them their entire life. I spent 8 years away from real estate pursuing ma

ssage therapy, traveling, and dealing with my own life. All that time was needed so that I could come back strong and aggressively lead our office to the next level. Little did I know what the impact of coming back would be! Since my return, our office has embraced new tools and systems that will carry us into the future of technology. Our focus on education has been successful and buyers, sellers and agents are getting the job done by embracing some really smart nuggets of wisdom. This seems like an odd term to most. But what it means to me specifially is that I don't take away business from the agents in my office. I do however, generate my own book of business through the network of family, friends and focused campaigns. This is the best way to lead by example. When the process works well and the product is good, people will begin to emulate that. Agents and customers the support they need, because I am there to give them first hand experience and be a part of solutions and develop dynamic ideas in order to accomplish the goal. All this to say, I do what I do, for my folks. Every step I take towards success is a tribute to their hard work and sacrifice for me, my brothers, their families and our business. It's not a gimic, it's a goal.

A few year ago, when I would be asked “What do you do?” I would respond with “I’m the Legacy, helping my parents achieve retirement.” after years of watching them sacrifice, I set my goal to see them enjoy their ‘Golden Years’ together.

It wasn’t long before I recognized that our industry was facing changes, and I watched as more ‘disruptors’ emerged. I knew I would need step up my efforts to achieve that goal and to do more about protecting our livelihood. After some heavy contemplation, attending lots of industry events, I felt the best option was to partner with like-minded industry experts, genuine believers that Real Estate is still and will ever be a ‘Relationship Business’. NextHome Corp. were the exact experts I was seeking. Since becoming a #NextHomie I have been mesmerized by the high level of industry involvement and expertise that is shared across our network. I am continually impressed by the thought and time that our corporate staff pours into keeping us at the very top of the discussion. We’re not numbers, we’re faces and families, we’re dreams and goals. To them, we are the highest priority and it shows. They understood my mission of being a Legacy that is long lasting and not self serving. They understood why it was important to me to honor my heritage, yet fully embrace the love I have for my land. And most of all, our core values line up perfectly with protecting our greatest asset, our agents.

So here we are, present day, our landscape has changed... office layout, wall colors, brands, faces - but the goal is the same. I couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve been building. We have grown to include like-minded agents to help carry on the legacy. The spirit of our business boils down to building long lasting relationship. We aren’t friends, we’re family! Ultimately, I do what I do, because God has ingrained in me a great respect and desire to honor my mother and father. Every step I take towards success is a tribute to their hard work and sacrifice for me, my brothers, their families and our business. To God be the glory, great things He has done!
