GUIDE stands for Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience. It’s an initiative released July 2025 from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, designed to give families extra support when they need it most. The program is aimed at helping people living with dementia—and the family members who care for them—by offering services like:

* Respite care to give caregivers a well-deserved
break with up to 76 hours
* Care coordination to help you navigate the
healthcare system
* Dementia-informed support from professionals
