Today marks 27 years since my mom, Holly, passed.
She was an educator, an advocate, a student of the world, a master gardener, and a Realtor long before I ever imagined I would be one. She homeschooled my brother and me as long as she was able, even after she got sick, and called our school “Life Long Learning,” which shaped so much of who I am.
She’s still woven into my life in quiet, constant ways. The holly leaf in my logo is for her. Her signature is tattooed on my foot. And she continues to guide how I show up in business, in relationships, and in how I keep learning and growing.
27 years feels like a lifetime, and somehow not at all.
