The Federal Food Assistance Program (SNAP) is currently no longer being funded due to the ongoing government shutdown. About 15% of Massachusetts residents rely on SNAP, and many in our community may be affected.
To help, we’re collecting non-perishable food and essential items for the Dedham Food Pantry all month long. Whenever the bucket is full, we’ll deliver the donations directly to the pantry.
We hope you’ll reach into your hearts (and your pantries) to share if you can. Please make sure all donations are unopened and not expired.
💙 If you’re a tenant in need, feel free to take from the bucket, no questions asked.

🎃 Dedham Square Trunk or Treat & Trick or Treating! 👻
Looking for some Halloween fun this weekend? Join the Dedham Square Circle Trunk or Treat event and Dedham Square Trick or Treating on Saturday, October 25th in Dedham Square!
🕑 Trick or Treating: 2–6 PM throughout Dedham Square – stop by local businesses for treats, shopping, and live music on the Town Green (4–6 PM)!
🚗 Trunk or Treat: 3–5 PM at the Registry of Deeds lot (High & Ames St) – enjoy decorated cars, games, crafts, music, dancing, and even a giant corn maze inflatable!
🎉 This free event is open to everyone — come dressed in costume and join the fun!

Halloween is almost here, and it’s time for Trick-or-Treating!

Want to join in?
Stop by the office to grab a door hanger. Hang it on your door handle if you’d like to welcome trick-or-treaters. If you run out of candy or don’t want to participate anymore, just take the hanger down.

For trick-or-treaters:

Children should be accompanied by an adult.

Only knock on doors with a hanger displayed.

Friday, 10/31/2025
5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

You can also stop by the office before 5 PM to pick up some candy, while supplies last.
