JEHOVAH HAS GIVEN US ENOUGH LIGHT TO RECOGNIZE THE TIMES

Although Jehovah has not revealed the exact day or hour when this system will end (Matthew 24:36), He has not left His faithful servants in darkness. Out of His love and wisdom, He has provided clear evidence through His Word to help us understand where we stand in the stream of time.

Bible prophecy has accurately foretold the succession of world powers—from Egypt and Assyria to Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome, and the present Anglo-American world power. Daniel chapter 2 reminds us that human rulership exists only within the limits Jehovah permits and that His Kingdom will soon replace all earthly governments.

Jehovah has also revealed the conditions that would identify the last days. The attitudes described at 2 Timothy 3:1-5 and the global events foretold by Jesus at Matthew 24—wars, food shortages, earthquakes, and other distressing conditions—are clearly evident today.

These signs are not intended to fill us with fear but to strengthen our confidence. Jehovah wants His people to remain spiritually awake, alert, and fully convinced that His promises will soon be fulfilled.

Very soon, God’s Kingdom will remove all suffering and establish a world filled with peace, security, righteousness, and true worship. The hope of everlasting life in Jehovah’s promised new world is not merely a dream—it is a sure reality founded on the unfailing fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

Indeed, Jehovah has provided enough light for us to recognize the times and enough hope to keep moving forward with faith and endurance.
