This house was located on a great street in Pleasant Ridge. The house needed a lot more work than we thought (hint: they always do!) but we were able to get creative with closets and storage to maximize space. Our favorite part of this project was renovating the exterior. We were surprised to find a yard that large after we removed 10ft tall honeysuckle!

We had the pleasure of working on this massive renovation in Oakley while HGTV renovated another house next door! Unlike HGTV, our project took a lot longer than a 30-minute-episode to complete and the issues were REAL! Our favorite parts of this project were working with steel beams to open the first-floor layout, installing a Tesla charger, and witnessing production crews film a 'short' television episode for 10 months!

This was an original house of Deer Park, built in 1888. (The city was not incorporated until 1906!) We were excited to bring this old home back to life and the neighbors were excited to witness the progress we made on this house in a short period of time. Our favorite part about working on this house was not tearing down any walls! We look forward to finding more projects like this one!

This house needed someone willing to take on a big foundation project; Totaling 32 steel beams and full foundation perimeter waterproofing. Our favorite improvement was sanding the white paint off of the front gable then restaining it with a natural cedar color. The contrast really gave the house a softer feel from the street. We also enjoyed working on this house because of the natural light and open floorplan. (That makes it a lot easier to find tools!)

This house was the best example of the work we enjoy; modernizing an old home for everyday life while maintaining the original character. Much of the beautiful woodwork was restored on this house. Our favorite challenges on this house were removing the steam radiators and finding the right paint color to complement the Rookwood tile in the living room! (We settled on Anonymous - Behr)

While finishing another project down the street we were asked about buying this house, which turned out to be another great project. Everyone enjoyed the layout of this home. It was a 3 bed, 2.5 bath home that lived way larger on the inside than the view from the curb. The master en-suite, and ash hardwood floors were the highlight features of this house.

This house, like many other projects, started as a simple remodeling project and evolved into a full-gut! We completely renovated this house (down to the studs and more), opened up the floors, new mechanical, waterproof, new driveway... We touched everything! and learned a ton along the way. **This was my first listing as a licensed agent... Let's go!

This house was a fun project in Deer Park. Neighbors informed us that the house had served as a daycare for the neighborhood for many years, which explained the row of tiny toilets in the basement! The biggest surprise from this house were hickory floors beneath the carpet. We fully repaired, sanded and restored the floors, giving this old daycare a new life in the neighborhood!
