Please be advised that both bike rooms and outdoor racks were inspected in early February 2026. In all, 17 bikes are unidentified. They will be donated to charity, unless the owner identifies his or her bike. Only two bikes per unit are permitted on the property.

If you have any bikes on the property, either inside a bike room or outside in a bike rack, please tag them with your unit number. The racks are for the exclusive use of Grantham E owners & occupants.

I have uploaded photographs of 17 bikes on our website for your review. If you recognize your bike(s), please tag them or advise the Board of Directors.

By the end of March 2026, unidentified bikes will be removed from the property.

I’m taking few minutes to share with you two important Florida House Bills, namely HB 1021 and HB 1029, that have a direct and immediate impact on Condominium Associations and owners. Both bills have been signed by the Governor and become effective on July 01, 2024. You can also view summaries of these new bills on the Grantham E website in the Library at www.granthame.com or by searching Internet.

Please be aware that at our last General Meeting, January 19, 2024, the owners in attendance voted and adopted two important amendments to our By-Laws related to water damage. One pertains to shutting Off and turning On the main water valve when absent longer than 3 days and the other pertains to replacing the hot water tank after 15 years of life, regardless of its condition.

United Elevator has informed us yesterday that due to delays at another work site, the start of our elevator modernization project is postponed by one week. This project is now scheduled to start on Monday July 17, 2023 and to end on Friday August 25, 2023. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Things are getting done on and around our property:
- In February, new fire valve doors were installed;
- In March, the Alarm System was upgraded;
- In April, few dead trees were replaced;
- In May, an anti-slip seal was sprayed on our catwalks;
- in June, eavestrough and downspouts were installed at the front of our building; and finally
- On July 10, the elevator modernization project should start.

We finally got an anti-slip coating done on our catwalks. It looks really good.

Next Tuesday April 04, 2023, Seacrest will be painting all the black numbers and letters on our parking bumpers. Please park at least 18” away from the cement bumpers. Thank you

As explained before, unit owners must install battery operated smoke detectors in each bedroom and in the living room of their unit. Today, the Broward County Fire inspectors noted on our Annual Fire Inspection report that several units did not have them. Please don’t forget to install them.
