POV: You think your linen closet is organized… until you open the doors.

“Yep… that’s my closet.”
“It’s organized… but it’s a little out of sorts at the moment.”

Even in my own home—because real life happens. 😅

A day in the life, PLACED style ☕️💪🏼🏙️

Coffee to kick things off, a quick workout to reset, then into work mode—checking in on projects and moving pieces forward. Snuck away for lunch in the city with Syd before her interviews (best part of Lisa’s day 🖤), and wrapped it all up with a design session doing what we love most: editing, styling, and bringing spaces together.

Busy days, full heart.
This is what doing it all looks like—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Turn your closet into the Denim Lounge. A tag system that actually works

Use one tag per pair. Trade those adult hangers for kid hangers (hang tag on hanger OR adhesive label).

Make every tag follow the same format:

POV: You go looking for scissors… and end up elbow-deep in the junk drawer. 😅

With a -5° high in Chicago, it’s the perfect time for a quick refresh. Even we have to reset our own homes sometimes. I’ve been picking one spot a day and spending 30–45 minutes getting it back in order so life feels calmer. Today’s target: the junk drawer (and yes—adding a little extra burn with my weighted vest + wrist weights 💪).
