I love a Farmer’s Market and Crosby has a great one! Most Saturday’s include a scrumptious loaf of sourdough bread (or two) and a hunk of cheese (or few) with a bottle of wine from Victual. If your stay at the Glass Getaway includes a Saturday you don’t want to miss the Crosby Farmer’s market. And if it doesn’t include a Saturday - that’s ok too! Stop by Victual (but go early) on Main Street in Crosby for the bread, cheese and wine - oh and they have chocolate and ice cream too!

Happy Holiday Season and welcome new followers. I was going to wait for the finished photos to announce but I cannot wait! Things are heating up! Excited to share Santa is bringing a 7 person hot tub and a 6 person sauna to the Glass Getaway! These lakefront amenities will be available to all guests beginning Jan. 5, 2026. The summer season is booking fast so if you want May - September dates please reach out soon! A reminder we also have all the ice fishing and snow shoeing gear needed to enjoy the winter season too! Happy Thanksgiving! We are so grateful
for our friends and guests who helped make our first year at Glass Getaway so much fun! Summer 2026 is filling up but great days available in May, June, and August. Summer isn’t the only time you can enjoy the beauty of Serpent Lake and its surroundings! The wood pile is full and the blankets are ready for winter and spring evenings by the fire. We have all the items needed for ice fishing and snow shoeing and of course foosball and board games galore you can enjoy with the warmth of the fireplace inside. Book before Dec. 15 and we’ll take 15% off your direct book rate.
