Unpopular opinion: That "charming" fixer-upper everyone keeps scrolling past? It might just be your best financial decision of the year. 👀

Yes, the carpet could be offensive. Yes, the kitchen may look like it was last updated before flip phones were cool. But guess what, so was the price. 😂

Here's the thing nobody tells you: move-in ready homes are basically just someone else's renovation project with a markup slapped on top. You're paying for THEIR taste. Their choices. Their questionable accent wall.

It is not simply the unofficial start of summer, a long weekend, or a backyard barbecue. It is a day of remembrance for the men and women who fought, sacrificed, and gave their lives for this country and the freedoms we so often take for granted.

This tool from the Volusia County Property Appraiser makes it ridiculously easy to estimate your taxes based on:
✔️ Purchase price
✔️ Homestead exemption
✔️ Veteran, senior & other qualifying exemptions
✔️ Location within Volusia County
