It’s shaping up to be one of the busiest Januarys we’ve seen in over 15 years! 🏡✨ The level of activity right now is a great sign that we’re heading into a strong year for the housing market.

The good news for Buyers... Many loan options are already coming in below 6%, even though the national average 30-year fixed rate is hovering around 6.2%. Once that average drops under 6% (which could happen as soon as this spring), I expect we’ll see even more activity with home buyers and sellers.

The Federal Reserve just announced that they’re holding interest rates steady for now. We’re also expecting a new Fed Chair to be named within the next month or two, which could play a big role in where rates go later this year.

Right now, projections are calling for two rate cuts in 2026 (YAY!), but we could potentially see three!

Exciting times ahead! If you’ve been thinking about buying or selling, now is a great time to start the conversation. 😊
