We started out as weekenders loving the escape our Catskill mountain home provided from our busy New York City marketing careers. As investors, we purchased our second home, but soon realized our love of the Delaware River headwaters and the surrounding peaks were calling to us more strongly than we had ever anticipated. We purchased our 200-year-old home and began the process of restoration to make it truly ours. Nearly twenty years on, we have come to know these towns, valleys and mountains better than any place we have ever lived or worked. Whether it is the creative artist scene, the music and performance community, or the numerous opportunities for all-season out-door experiences, the Catskills are home for us. And while ours was a personal experience, it is not uncommon for our Brooklyn neighbors and city-loving co-workers to often remark about the dreams they have to share in our Catskill Country Living adventure. All too often though, they didn’t know how to make their dreams real because they didn’t know how to make a second home work, or because they couldn’t find a real estate company or agent who had the same passion for properties and design that they did.
