Before real estate, there were more than 25 years of my life spent in the corporate world.

Looking back, that chapter taught me so much about people, communication, responsibility, and showing up even when things don't go exactly as planned.
I couldn't have known then how much of that experience I would carry with me into real estate, but I do every day.

Real estate may have been a new career, but I didn't start from scratch.

I brought decades of experience, life lessons, and a much better understanding of people with me.

Funny how past chapters follow us into the next one. 🤍

Florida property taxes can come with a surprise buyers don’t always expect.

The tax bill you see while looking at a home may be based on the current owner’s taxable value. After the property changes hands, that value may be reassessed, which means your future tax bill could look different.

Here’s a question I’ve been thinking about lately…

Would you rather have a bigger house or more free time? 🏡⏰

I think there was a time when I would have automatically said more space. But the older I get, the more I appreciate having time to actually enjoy the life happening inside and outside of those four walls.

Time with family. Dinner with friends. A quiet morning. A weekend with nowhere you have to be.

Maybe that’s the real luxury. 🤍

I used to think finding the perfect house was the goal. Over the years, experience has changed my perspective. 🏡

Now, I encourage my buyers to focus on the things that are harder to change, like the location, layout, natural light, and how the home actually fits their lifestyle.

Paint can change. A kitchen can be updated. A bathroom can become your style. But the right location and the way a home works for your everyday life matter so much more.

Sometimes, the home you almost overlooked ends up being the one that feels most like home. 🤍

There’s a lot that happens between the pretty listing photos and the SOLD sign. 🤍

Some days it’s reviewing paperwork from the car, waiting on an inspector, checking a property before my clients arrive, or driving from one appointment straight to the next.

It may not be the part of real estate that makes it onto Instagram very often, but it’s a big part of taking care of my clients and making sure the details don’t get missed.

This is the part of real estate you don’t always see.
