We invite city residents and businesses to take part in our free Shred Day event being held between 9 AM and 12 PM on March 7, 2026, at the City Hall’s North parking lot. The City will provide on-site shredding for sensitive, outdated, or unwanted papers or documents.

There has been another drop-off of seashells today for our Public Shelling Event at Anchor Park, which features a large shell pile created during recent beach renourishment activities. When participating in this event, please keep the following in mind so that we may continue to offer this fun event:

- Deliveries will occur occasionally - NOT daily - throughout the renourishment project or until otherwise advised
- Access to the pile in Anchor Park is from sunrise to sunset when the park is open
- Shells can ONLY be collected from the designated pick pile in Achor Park – not from the active construction site

The shells were separated during sand screening and are now available for the community to explore and collect. Come discover beautiful shells and celebrate our coastline!

Today, I want to send a prayer for my brother from another mother up in heaven Mr Mortgage, Mark Eitel NMLS #1929005. Mark was always a mover and shaker setting new things up, looking toward the future, even despite his illness. Always smiling and laughing through it all. Who else could get on iHeart Radio for a weekly broadcast about mortgages and make it fun an interesting?!
He did this interview with me from his podcast studio and despite the technical video difficulties, listening to it brings a smile to my face. Had a good chuckle with him not even 2 weeks ago and know we will meet again someday to share some laughs up there. Mark will definitely be missed. Life is precious, make every day count.

Delray Beach renourishment project dates.

Beach Renourishment work is continuing over the next few months, and you may see temporary closures in certain areas of the beach while sand dredging is underway. These closures are in place to keep everyone safe.
