From August 15 to 18, the Air Quality Control Commission will be hosting a hearing regarding Reg. 28 and its potential mandates. As we grapple with already soaring housing costs, this one-size-fits-all approach could exacerbate our financial challenges and add to Colorado's complex affordability problem. It mandates & establishes energy consumption benchmarks that include large multi-family complexes across the state, likely passing costs onto the consumers and worsening the opportunity for housing.
