🍽️ 5-Ingredient Dinner You Can Make in 20 Minutes

Busy night? This easy Honey Garlic Chicken & Broccoli comes together quickly with just five ingredients.

You’ll need:

🍗 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces
🥦 3 cups broccoli florets
🧄 2 cloves garlic, minced
🍯 2 tablespoons honey
🥢 ¼ cup soy sauce

How to make it:

Cook the chicken in a large skillet over medium-high heat until cooked through.
Add the broccoli and garlic and cook until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
Stir together the honey and soy sauce, then pour over the chicken and broccoli.
Toss everything together and cook for another 2–3 minutes until the sauce has slightly thickened.

🚫 What should you NEVER put down your garbage disposal?

Your garbage disposal can handle a lot — but some things are better left in the trash.

Avoid putting these down the drain:

🥓 Grease, fats & oils — they can harden and clog pipes
☕ Coffee grounds — they can collect in pipes and create buildup
🥚 Eggshells — the membranes can wrap around disposal parts
🥔 Potato peels — starch can turn into a thick, sticky paste
🍝 Pasta & rice — they expand with water and can cause clogs
🥬 Celery, corn husks & other fibrous foods — fibers can tangle around the blades
🦴 Bones & fruit pits — too hard for most disposals
🧽 Non-food items — including paper towels, wipes, plastic, glass or metal

Quick tip: Run cold water while using your disposal and for several seconds afterward to help move food particles through the pipes.

Following these guidelines will prevent unnecessary clogging and repairs. 😬

Our Boys and Girls Club got to enjoy a fun day of reading with Spring smiles, wagging tails, and stories shared 🐾🐶📖
Our residents had such a special time the amazing therapy dogs from Therapy Pals! Moments like these bring generations together and fill our community with joy, kindness, and connection.
This is all able to happen with the help of our good friend Ann Lee from or Good Neighbor Program! She works so hard with our Boys and Girls Club to make sure all of these kids have a smile on their face!
