I swear some of these new-build neighborhoods were designed with a ruler and zero social anxiety.

You walk outside and accidentally make eye contact with 4 families immediately.

Congrats on the quartz countertops…
but your neighbor can probably identify your shampoo brand through the bathroom window.

And look — some of these communities ARE beautiful.
Great schools. Great amenities. Clean modern interiors.

But somewhere along the way, “luxury” became:
• fancy clubhouse
• tiny backyard
• fences basically touching

Honestly, I think a lot of people are starting to miss:
✔️ mature trees
✔️ breathing room
✔️ usable outdoor space
✔️ a backyard that doesn’t feel shared

Maybe I’m just getting old (I turn 40 THIS YEAR).
But older neighborhoods in DFW are starting to hit different, again.
