Finally got the front yard turf out and converted through the Aurora Grass Replacement Incentive Program. Between ditching the thirsty lawn, laying down mulch, and putting in drip irrigation, we are getting about $1,400 back from Aurora Water in rebates.
Aurora Water’s design crew helped sketch the plan and added subtle berms to give the yard natural contour, though the photo doesn't quite do the elevation changes justice. Still have a few plants to drop in come spring, but the hard part is done.
Working with buyers every week as a Realtor, curb appeal is always the first thing that sets the tone for a home. Whether someone is listing this year or staying put for the next decade, a low-maintenance yard is a huge draw. People love a sharp-looking space that doesn't eat up every weekend with mowing or run up massive summer water bills.
