Lone Tree and Highlands Ranch neighbors — Are you excited for a Dutch Brothers?

Coffee news is brewing in Lone Tree! ☕

At the June 2 City Council Meeting, City Council approved several planning documents for a new Dutch Bros Coffee, including a rezoning, plat amendment, and site improvement plan.

The proposed location is near Park Meadows Drive and Quebec Street, at the north end of the existing Kohl’s parking lot. The approved site plan includes a 1,025-square-foot coffee shop with drive-thru service, a pedestrian walk-up window, three bicycle spaces, and 11 parking stalls.

Construction is expected to begin in 2027.

Happy National Donut Day!

We never miss a chance for a donut. My kids love Mr.Donut in Lone Tree.

Wyatt gets a sugar twist.
Max gets a Minion donut.
Aaron gets a cronut.

I’m a variety person so it depends on the day. Today an apple fritter won out.

What’s your favorite donut spot?

Moving to Denver without knowing anyone here has been tough. Honestly.
It feels like my family and I are starting over.

There’s no family friend we can text on a random Thursday night to grab dinner with. No best friend to call for a Saturday afternoon walk. And if I’m being real, there’s been some tough moments trying to build a life from scratch again.

But then I walk into a place like Pen Pals in Downtown Englewood CO and things feel right.

Alex, one of the sales associates, of course sells items like stationery and pens and gifts. But the store also created something way more valuable: a sense of community.

While I was there, I ended up talking to three different customers and one of them said she comes in every week just to chat and catch up with Alex and the other regulars. How just organic and nostalgic is that - true intentional connection between people.

In a city as big as Denver, that's rare.

For the last two years, Pen Pals has built a place where people genuinely connect with each other, and you can feel it the second you walk through the door.

Alex, you're doing something right.

Thank you for reminding me that even in a big city, there are still places that feel like a small town.

Summer officially kicked off tonight in Hunter’s Hill and Walnut Hills with a Kona Ice truck at the park!

I was happy to sponsor this event and help bring a little extra fun to the neighborhood. There’s something special about seeing kids running around with snow cones, neighbors catching up, and everyone enjoying a beautiful Colorado evening together.

As a local Realtor, I love supporting the communities I serve. Whether you’re thinking about buying, selling, or just have questions about the market, I’d be honored to be a resource for you.

And when the time comes, I’d love the opportunity to earn your business.

Big thanks to MJ at Mile High Kona Ice for being so awesome!
