Today is World Spay Day!

World Spay Day is an annual international campaign that takes place on the last Tuesday of February to raise awareness about the benefits of spaying and neutering pets. The goal is to reduce pet overpopulation and the number of stray animals, ultimately saving animal lives.

Founded in 1995 by Doris Day and the Doris Day Animal League (DDAL) as “Spay Day USA”, the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) took over the tradition in 2006.

🚨 Event Update: National Western Stock Show Parade Start Time Delay 🚨

Due to anticipated snow and cold temperatures tomorrow morning, the National Western Stock Show Kick-off Parade will begin at 1:00 PM instead of noon on Thursday, January 9, 2025.

Street Closures:
Start at 11:00 AM

Impact areas include:
Wynkoop closures from Coors Lot to 17th Street.
17th Street closures from Wynkoop to Glenarm.
Glenarm to 18th Street, looping back to Coors Field Parking Lot A.
Expect rolling closures to ensure parade safety.

Parking Info:
Meters near the parade route will be bagged starting the evening of Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Parking will reopen after the parade concludes at 5:00 PM.

RIP ✨ Very sad.

Carbon monoxide is a tasteless, colorless and deadly gas. Make sure you have an operating carbon monoxide detector on every level of your home & outside every sleeping area.
This includes apartments & condos, etc (all residential).

The EPA recommends placing a carbon monoxide detector on a wall about five feet above the floor or about eye level.
You can also put them on the ceiling.

This is an also a great time to check & replace batteries in your smoke alarms & carbon monoxide detectors. When was the last time you checked them? 💯
