For your 🐫 day, if you’re in the slumps I’m here to remind you that your home doesn't have to be Instagram-able to be perfect!

Next time you're sitting around the dinner table with the fam, journaling with your morning coffee or having date night with your spouse, answer these questions:

1 - Reflect on when you first saw your home. What made you think "This is it!"

2 - What did you do on moving day? Who was there? How did you make it special? (Even if special consisted of ordering takeout chicken fried rice that you proceeded to eat from the container while sitting on the floor, listening to music on Spotify.

3 - What is your favorite memory in your home?

4 - Describe your ideal day at home

5 - Which room in your home is your favorite and why?

90's hip hop & your Spring Cleaning Sesh 🧽🧹

If you’re like me, you’re ready to crank up the tunes on your favorite playlist and get to cleaning! SWIPE for 5 areas to kickoff Spring cleaning ➡️

Your Pantry – time to purge and get rid of all the expired items, almost empty bags of chips shoved to the back, 30 different kinds of tea you keep buying but never drinking, you name it. Grab a garbage bag and clean it out! Then re-organize what’s left.

Your Closet – (picture SATC, cleaning out Carrie's closet with champagne & 90's hip hop)! Time to do the same thing with your closet. Doesn’t fit? Haven’t worn it in over a year? Remove it! Go through shoes, purses, sweaters, all of it. Invest in storage bins for purses, shelving for your shoes, an over the door organizer for belts, hats and other misc. accessories. Then arrange what’s left into categories (color coded or style coded such as short sleeve tops together, blouses together, etc).

Your Paperwork – go through your junk drawers, office and pile of mail – throw out what you don’t need and organize the rest into a file cabinet or into categories. Do you really need every Crate and Barrel catalog from 2019? What about the 15 articles you printed off about weight loss at the start of the new year? Time to clean it out!

Your Refrigerator – Take everything out – literally everything. Wipe down all of the shelves and drawers. Grab a garbage bag and toss out what you don’t need, then organize the rest.

Your Phone – Email, apps, social media accounts.. clean out what you don’t use, who you don’t want to see in your feed anymore, categorize your emails and get your inbox to zero.

Last night I got to do something pretty neat & co-host our Keller Williams Awards Ceremony with this guy!

We both started at our brokerage around the same time in 2020 and have gotten to ride this crazy wave of Real Estate together. Getting to dress up, be in a room with some incredible people, and celebrate everyone’s successes was truly the best.

If you were a fly on the wall of the house I'm showing or in my car while I'm driving, here are some of the things you'd see me doing:

☘️Attending office meetings

☘️Meeting future buyers over Zoom to get them prepared for the home buying process

☘️Dropping off Avery for pre-k while chatting with agents about current deals

☘️Attending home inspections with my buyers

☘️Showing homes

☘️Writing offers and listing contracts

☘️Negotiating offers

☘️Picking up iced coffees from Black Rock on my way to an appointment - Yes I bring coffees for my clients too!

☘️Writing listing descriptions that go beyond the "house data"

☘️Submitting showing feedback to my sellers or to the houses I toured with clients that day

☘️Putting together marketing materials for my listings

☘️Running market analysis and home equity reports for future home sellers

☘️Picking up staging props

☘️Sending weekly client updates

☘️Getting estimates for repairs

Shall I go on?

The truth is, there are a lot of balls to juggle. Some days are crazy and some days I have time to sneak in an episode of my favorite TV show or meet a friend for happy hour.

UNDER CONTRACT on this cutie Farmhouse dream 🥰

I am so thrilled (for myself bc I’m coming over to enjoy coffee on the porch) for my sweet friends! I have known Alana for 10+ years. We met and worked together when I was 17 at a chiropractors office. Our mutual love for sweets and massages has lasted us and held this bond over the years.

Never did I think in a million years that you and the boyfriend you once gushed to me about would allow me to guide you through your out of state move AND land you 5 minutes down the street from me. I’m obsessed, I’m honored, and I cannot wait to continue our sweet tooth endeavors together! ❤️

Here's a list of what to do in March - then follow along every month to make sure your home is lucky all year long!

🧺 Wash linens (think all of those blankets lying around, stuffed in the closet, draped over the couch)

🧽 Wash windows and put on screens (If you’re thinking of selling this Spring, remove the screens for increased natural light and better listing photos)

🛋 Spot clean your furniture

🚪 Swap out your front door mat for Spring

🛌 Vacuum your mattresses (Amazon has a bed vacuum with UV Sanitizing for removing dust mites, pollen, and bacteria - the brand is Ergo Life)

🧹 Spring Clean the kitchen: Clean kitchen backsplash, wipe down cabinets and clean under appliances (I think the last time I did this was the day we moved into our house - you too?)

🍿 Organize the pantry & throw out expired products

🖼 Clean mirrors and lamps (and lightbulbs)

💰 Get ready for Tax Season (everyone's favorite 😅)

🌳 Spring clean your yard & plan to plant (Flowers and Gardens and Trees - OH MY)!
