For the last 2.5 years, ever since I started lifting heavy, itâs been a dream of mine to compete in a fitness competition. But more than that, I wanted to fully commit to the journeyâlearning what works for my body, what doesnât, and pushing myself in the healthiest way possible.
I know the bodybuilding industry can come with a lot of unhealthy practices, but my intention is to approach this in the most positive and sustainable way. That means taking my time with weight loss, training smart, supporting my body with the right supplements, prioritizing sleep, and fueling myself properly. This is the biggest physical challenge Iâve ever taken on, and I want to do it while truly nourishing my body.
This goal has been in my heart ever since I shifted away from being an aerialist and working for others to running my own business full-time. But beyond just the physical aspect, this journey is about reclaiming my power, my self-worth, and proving to myself that I can do this in a way that aligns with my values. My long-term goal? To build as much lean muscle as possible and maintain it for lifeâso I can stay strong, independent, and never have to rely on anyone to take care of me.
But before I could fully commit, I had to make major shifts in my life. I needed to be in an environment that truly supported the pressure and stress I was choosing to put my body through. That meant walking away from unhealthy relationships, surrounding myself with the right people, and addressing the physical and hormonal imbalances caused by past stress.
And just as important as the right environmentâI needed the right team. The people who push me past my burnout, hold me accountable, and wonât let me quit when the exhaustion sets in. Because this kind of growth isnât just about willpowerâitâs about strategy, recovery, and having the right support system to make sure Iâm making real gains instead of just running myself into the ground.
This didnât happen overnightâI had to rebuild my entire foundation before I could finally chase this dream the way I always wanted to. And now, here I am. Ready to go all in.
