Originally from Excelsior, MN, I graduated from the U of M-Twin Cities and worked in Corporate Sales until November 2011. That's when I dropped everything and drove West in search of my dream lifestyle. As a 10-year resident of Breckenridge I have a true love and deep understanding of Summit County and surrounding areas. Kindness, Honesty, and Integrity are core values that have helped

me make connections and develop a strong network of professionals throughout Summit County and beyond. I have over 20 years of Sales and Customer Service experience. Prior to embarking on my journey in real estate I was the lead server of the Briar Rose, one of Summit County’s most prestigious restaurants . From Grand Lake and Dillon to Evergreen, Burns, Larkspur, and Red Cliff, these homes make it very easy to spend more time outside. Morning coffee by the water, afternoons on the lake, and the sound of a creek in the background, it’s hard to beat.

Summer in Colorado makes it easy to turn an ordinary day into something worth remembering, no plane ticket or complicated itinerary needed.

Start the morning outside, grab lunch somewhere local, and finish the day with live music, drinks, or a sweet treat. Whether you’re staying close to Denver or exploring another Front Range favorite, there’s always a full summer day waiting nearby.

Fort Collins: Horsetooth Reservoir, lunch in Old Town, then drinks at The Exchange

One of the best things about Colorado is how different it can feel depending on where you are.

You can spend the morning in Denver grabbing coffee at Union Station, head to RiNo for murals, breweries, and dinner, then be watching a concert at Red Rocks by the end of the day.

Drive south and you have Garden of the Gods, mountain views, and Colorado Springs. Head north and you get Boulder, Chautauqua, Pearl Street, and all of the smaller towns that make Northern Colorado feel like its own little world.

Then there is Estes Park, where a summer day can turn into Trail Ridge Drive, elk sightings, and a reason to stay longer than planned.

When friends come to visit, it is easy to want to show them everything. The good news is there is no wrong way to do it.

You can build a weekend around hiking, food, live music, small towns, mountain drives, or just taking them to the places that make you love living here in the first place.

Buyers start forming an opinion about a home before they ever walk through the front door.
That first impression is not just about whether the landscaping looks nice. It affects how buyers view the rest of the property, how they interpret the home’s condition, and sometimes even how confident they feel about making an offer.

Small Colorado towns are one of the best parts of living here.

You can spend a Saturday in Golden with coffee in hand and a walk along Clear Creek, head up to Georgetown for history and mountain views, or keep it slower with an afternoon by the lake in Palmer Lake.

Then there are places like Lyons, Manitou Springs, Niwot, and Idaho Springs, each with their own mix of local food, scenery, shops, trails, and the kind of character that makes you want to stay longer than planned.

That is what makes Colorado feel so varied. You can be in the city one day and somewhere completely different the next without needing a full weekend away.

Save this for the next time you want to get out of your usual routine, take a drive, and see a different side of the state.

School’s out, which means it’s a good time to start keeping a few Colorado day trips in your back pocket.

One of the best parts about living here is how many different kinds of days you can create without needing a full vacation planned. You can keep it easy with a lake walk and mountain views, spend the afternoon at the hot springs, take the kids somewhere with a little adventure, or make the drive for one of those classic Colorado experiences that everyone should do at least once.

Farmers markets are back, and Colorado does this particular season really well. From the foothills to the Front Range to the mountains, every weekend through summer turns into a slow morning somewhere with fresh peaches, cut flowers, breakfast burritos, and coffee from your favorite local vendors.

The Old Colorado City Farmers Market in Bancroft Park has been running for over forty years, which makes it one of the longest-standing markets in the state, and you can absolutely feel that history when you walk into it. Our Jade agents will be there this summer, so if you are headed to the market, come say hi. We love this one.

There are great markets all over the state worth marking on the calendar. The Larimer County market in Fort Collins is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary this year. Cherry Creek, Union Station, and South Pearl over in Denver each have their own personality and cover most of the weekend. The mountain markets in Vail, Breckenridge, and Steamboat are worth a Sunday on their own.

Littleton has this balance that’s hard to find.

Tree-lined streets, older character homes, local restaurants, trails, and easy access to downtown without actually feeling like downtown.

People love Littleton because it feels established. The neighborhoods have personality, the community feels grounded, and there’s a mix of historic charm with updated homes and newer development nearby.

You can spend a Saturday grabbing coffee downtown, walking the Platte trail, checking out local shops, and still be close to the mountains.

It’s one of those areas that tends to hold long-term value because people genuinely love living there.
