The truth is, many buyers qualify for loan programs with much less down and some even qualify for down payment assistance programs they didn’t know existed. 👏

I can’t tell you how many people have said:

Surprisingly, it’s usually not the kitchen or the bathrooms, it’s deferred maintenance.

When buyers walk through a home and notice peeling exterior paint, water stains on the ceiling, dripping faucets, cracked caulking, or even a dirty HVAC intake, their mental calculator immediately starts subtracting money from what they’re willing to offer. Even small issues can make buyers wonder what bigger problems may be hiding behind the scenes.

The truth is, buyers pay more for homes that feel cared for and well-maintained. ✨

Taking care of small repairs, touch-ups, and basic maintenance before your home hits the market can:
✔️ Increase buyer confidence
✔️ Help your home show better
✔️ Reduce inspection negotiations
