๐ Moving Mountains at Biochar ๐
Big progress happening at the Douglas County Biochar Facility.
Together with our trade partner ESI Excavation, the team is in full production mode, reshaping the site and moving over 60,000 cubic yards of earth to prepare for the next phases of construction.
This is the type of work that doesn't always make the final project photos, but it is where successful projects are built. Every cut, fill, grade, and compaction effort today creates the foundation for everything that follows.
Current operations include: โข Scrapers moving material across the site โข Motor graders fine tuning elevations โข Bulldozers pushing and balancing grades โข Water trucks maintaining moisture for compaction โข Loaders supporting material handling operations โข Survey, testing, and quality control teams ensuring every lift meets specifications.
Watching multiple pieces of heavy equipment work in sync across a site of this scale is impressive. The coordination between operators, superintendents, surveyors, engineers, and labor crews is what keeps production moving safely and efficiently.
A huge thank you to the ESI team and everyone involved in making this progress possible. We are excited to keep pushing forward and transforming this site into a facility that will support innovative environmental solutions for years to come.
