I really enjoy getting to spend time with our PHG agents outside of the usual workday. We talk about real estate, share what’s been going on, laugh about the things only other agents would understand, and get to know each other a little better. 💙
 
Real estate can keep us pretty busy, so I think it’s important to make time for these moments. That’s part of why I enjoy our monthly Happy Hours, and why I love seeing agents from different brokerages come together, too.

Thinking about downsizing but not sure where to start? You’re not alone.
 
When you’ve lived in a home for many years, there can be a lot to sort through. And sometimes, the hardest part is simply figuring out what to do first.
 
My suggestion? Start small.
 
🏡 Choose one drawer, shelf, or closet.
📦 Sort items into three categories: keep, donate, and decide later.
🗓️ Give yourself time. You don’t have to finish everything in one weekend.
 
If you’re considering downsizing before moving to a 55+ community in Colorado, taking small steps now can help make the process feel more manageable later.
 
Remember, the goal isn’t to get rid of everything. It’s to make room for the next chapter of your life.

Sometimes, we get so caught up in growing our businesses that we forget how important it is to have people around us who understand the journey. 🤍
 
Real estate comes with a lot of highs, challenges, and lessons. Having people to share ideas with, learn from, celebrate wins with, and lean on during the tough days makes a difference.
 
That’s one thing I love about our PHG community. We’re all working toward our own goals, but there’s something special about knowing we can grow alongside one another.
 
Sometimes, a simple conversation is all you need to walk away with a fresh perspective.
 
Because growing your business is important, but having the right people around you matters, too. 🥂

One of the biggest conversations I have with sellers is about pricing.
 
And honestly, I understand why it can be a tough conversation. Your home has memories, improvements, and a value that feels personal.
 
But buyers don’t price your home based on what it means to you. They look at the homes they’re comparing it to right now.
 
That’s why I believe a strong pricing strategy starts with understanding the market before your home goes live, not waiting to see what happens and adjusting later.
 
The latest Denver Metro numbers are a good reminder of just how important that first decision can be.

When we talk about growing a real estate business, the conversation usually goes straight to production.

More clients.

More closings.

More income.

And those things matter.

But I think there’s another part of growth that doesn’t get talked about enough: what your business allows you to do with the rest of your life.

At some point, I started thinking about success a little differently.

Not just, “How much more can I do?”

But, “How do I want my business to fit into the life I’m building?”

Because if growth means constantly adding more hours, more stress, and more things to manage, it’s worth asking whether that’s really the kind of growth you want.

I still want to grow. I just want that growth to make sense for my life, too.
