He moved to Santa Monica, CA in the mid 1970's and practiced real estate first as an independent broker and then as an assistant office manager before assuming the role of managing broker at three major real estate firms. He was also a consistent top sales producer. He helped buyers and seller in all price ranges in a variety of neighborhoods in Los Angeles/Santa Monica area. The garden in hIs vintage bungalow home in Santa Monica, that he later shared with Bridget, was on many garden tours including the prestigious Open Days of the Garden Conservancy. Bridget grew up in Manhattan Beach ,CA where she enjoyed a childhood of long summer days spent on the beach or bobbing in the surf. She attended Marymount High School and graduated from Mira Costa High School in her home town. She went away to school at the University of Nevada, Reno, so she could be close to skiing. She then convinced her parents that it would be cheaper to send her to school in France and was the beneficiary of an unforgettable, long sojourn in France . Bridget worked in Washington DC for a number of years for non profits and the Legal Services Corporation. She arrived in Denver in 1976 and served as the Nursing Home Ombudsman for Colorado, before taking up her career in real estate. She loved doing volunteer work for Opera Colorado and the wonderful sense of community that she found in Denver. In 1986 she returned to her home in Manhattan Beach, CA, and worked at her real estate career. It was there that she met Louis, who came to manage the real estate office where she worked in Marina del Rey. Two years later they were married and shared a home in Santa Monica. They enjoyed life in SoCAL, trail running in the Santa Monica mountains, practicing ashtanga yoga at the Yoga Works studio minutes from their front door, rock climbing in the desert and in the Sierra, ultra light back packing, sailing, fly fishing, LA Opera, Disney hall and a large circle of friends, family and clients. Bridget never forgot the pleasure of living in Denver, close to the Rocky Mountains. So, in 2011, they sold their home in Santa Monica , and after a 5 month side trip to New Zealand, settled into their 1911 home in the Denver neighborhood of Park Hill. Louis ad Bridget still enjoy all of the same interests that they had in SoCAL but they have added community advocacy to their list. Louis is on the Boards of Greater Park Hill Community and City Park Friends and Neighbors. Bridget has many community interests. They both enjoy representing a variety of buyers and sellers in all kinds of real estate transactions in Denver and surrounding communities. Do you have a real estate question?
