Guida Homes did it again! We faced a challenging buyers market, lenders checking every box twice, and multiple hurdles along the way. Guida Homes picked up the slack, pulled a few strings, leveraged our relationships, and sealed the deal. This market is not for the faint of heart. Planning ahead isn't about expecting the worst. It's about making things easier on yourself and the people you love.

Start with three questions:

Have I decluttered what I no longer need? Going through things a little at a time now is much easier than doing it all at once during a move or a hard season.

Do my kids know my wishes for my will or trust? You don't have to share every detail, but letting the people you love know there's a plan, and where to find it, can spare them a lot of stress later. An estate planning attorney can help you get it in place.

Does my home still fit the life I want to live? Your home should make your days easier, not harder. If it isn't, it's worth exploring what would.

Staying in the home you love doesn't always take a big remodel. Often it starts with a few small changes that make everyday life safer and easier.

Grab bars in the bathroom, brighter lighting in hallways and on stairs, fewer loose rugs to trip on, lever handles that are easier on your hands, and keeping what you use every day on the main floor can make a real difference in how long your home keeps working for you.
