The Results Are In! 🥁
Congrats to everyone who guessed Option A on my last post! We officially finished our cabinet refacing, and the grand total came to approximately $8,000.
The best part? That price didn't just cover the kitchen—it covered the entire house, 3 bathrooms included! We went with the Graphite Classic Shaker style, and it completely transformed the space.

Final Result - We are going with Graphite Classic Shaker! 🏆 It’s a choice we have made since it blends seamlessly with the countertops and flooring. And hopefully it will give us the best bang for the buck!!!

Remember my kitchen cabinet nightmare from my last post?
I was completely stuck between painting, refacing, or replacing, and I just couldn't picture the final product. Since my ultimate goal is to sell this property, choosing a design that maximizes ROI and boosts the home's resale value is my absolute top priority.

It is SO HARD TO IMAGINE what will look good in here! Renovation paralysis is REAL! 😩💭

Look at my beautiful, almost-there kitchen. I love the counters and the floors, but these cabinets are driving me crazy! I feel completely stuck because I cannot, for the life of me, picture the final product. Every idea I have clashes with another!
The renovation bottleneck is officially the cabinets. We have three options, but I can’t mentally finalize any of them.
Tell me: what do you see?

Path 1: We repaint. Okay, but what color? We need specifics that work with the floor and the counter. (What do we think this would cost?)

Path 2: We reface. Okay, what new door style/pattern (Shaker? Slab? Grooved?) and color looks best? (Has anyone refaced their cabinets? Is it worth it?)

Path 3: We replace them entirely. A blank check and a magic wand! What pattern, color, and wood type/finish would YOU choose? (What’s the budget for a total kitchen overhaul?)

I’m literally so confused. Help me imagine this!
