What makes a good real estate agent? 🏡

After 10+ years in real estate and 150+ transactions, I can tell you, it’s about so much more than knowing the market and writing contracts.

To me, it’s knowing what my clients need from me in the moment and how to deliver the best experience.

Sometimes that means slowing down and explaining something again. Sometimes it means taking the lead, negotiating hard, or pointing out something they haven’t considered.

And sometimes it means saying, “I don’t think this is the right house for you.”

Because my job isn’t just to get you to the closing table. It’s to help you make a decision you’ll still feel good about years from now.

I want my clients to feel educated, confident, cared for, and never pressured. A lot of that work never makes it into the closing photo but it can completely change how someone feels about the experience.

That’s the kind of Realtor I want to be known for. 🤍

To walk away from your low interest rate??

It depends on your circumstances, but these are the most common reasons I’ve seen past clients make the move (even when they love their rate):
* A growing family & the need for more space
* New job or a job transfer (hello, Denver Tech Center commutes)
* Remote work creating location flexibility + need for a dedicated home office
* Desire to be closer to family so the kids have involved grandparents (AKA free babysitters 😉)
* A specific school for sports or academic program
* Desire for better quality of life (less time in traffic, more time enjoying the trails + open space around Highlands Ranch)

✨ What tangible and intangible value will it create?

📍 Being close to Denver AND the foothills so you can do city plans and mountain air in the same day

They had one weekend, 14 houses, and zero time to waste.

My clients were relocating from Texas and had a single weekend to find their forever home in Colorado, all while working full time jobs and wrangling two young kids back home. No pressure, right? 😅

We got hyper-specific on what mattered. The right neighborhood, the right layout, the right schools, and I organized a full day of 14 showings so nothing was left to chance. By Monday, they were under contract.

The other challenge? They didn’t have time to sell their Texas home first. Therefore, I connected them with a lender who could structure the purchase without an out-of-state contingency, which kept their offer clean and competitive.

Since they were back in Texas after the weekend, I attended the inspection on their behalf and walked them through every finding. From one weekend visit to the closing table — start to finish, handled. They were absolute troopers through the entire process!
