This Hot Take is straight from the heart. ❤️

I had the incredible honor of serving as Grand Marshal for the Edgewater Pride Parade over the weekend, and I don't have the words to fully describe what that felt like. 🥹 Seeing my community show up, feeling that love and acceptance surround me, and then looking out at the young faces along that parade route… it stopped me in my tracks.

Because I thought about my younger self. How different things might have felt knowing there were people like me out there, and that I was loved exactly as I was.

To anyone who needs to hear it today: you are loved. You belong. Keep loving yourself and the community around you! 🏳️‍🌈
