I was sitting at a client’s kitchen table when he told me that during his last real estate transaction, he had no idea how the Realtors were being paid or how the commission structure worked.

Here’s this week’s Denver and Aurora housing market update.

Prices are holding relatively steady, closed sales are down, mortgage rates remain in the upper 6% range, and buyers are becoming more selective.

Detached homes are generally holding up better than condos and townhomes, which means leverage can change depending on the property type, price range and location.

The goal of these weekly updates is simple: keep you informed on what’s actually happening so you can make better decisions before you buy or sell.
