Relationships really do matter. That’s why I tell potential clients that my style is relational, not transactional. I’m here for the long haul—not just to close a deal, but to truly be invested in your journey. This time, over the course of 10 years.

When we first met and started working together way back in 2015, Natalie—a talented ceramics artist—was freaked out to buy her first home. Nervous and unsure, she pushed back the fear, stayed within her budget, and cautiously listened to my advice to keep moving forward (along with her parents), that it would be worth it in the end.

She ended up buying what we lovingly referred to as a “grandma’s house”—a home with good bones, lots of potential, and plenty of room to flex her creativity. 👵 She could update it over time, making it uniquely hers while enjoying the journey. And that’s exactly what she did.

Always up for a challenge, even this one made me question if we could really pull it off.

Joey reached out to me on November 6th and let me know he was relocating to Denver for an exciting new position with a start date of December 2nd. He was interested in buying his first condo, although had serious reservations about if he could find something remotely affordable in the SW Denver metro area, in good condition, and in such a short time.

So I knew these things - it needed to be affordable, we'd have to move FAST, plus Thanksgiving would stress our timing even more. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. 💪

We got to work immediately. By Day 1, we hit the ground running - and the snowstorm that morning didn’t slow us down. After just three showings via FaceTime since Joey was still out of state, we found "the one": a beautifully remodeled condo that checked all his boxes. The only hurdle? Competing against another offer with a deadline of that afternoon.

Thanks to some strategic moves and teamwork, we not only beat out the competing offer but also closed in a lightning-fast 18 days. A huge thanks to Barrett Mortgage Team - NMLS #957467 for working magic on the financing side - navigating the complexities of the condo process with determination and speed. We were even able to close a day early! Joey can now move in with time to spare to get home to New Mexico for Thanksgiving and be back to start work on Monday. 🦃🙌

This experience was a powerful reminder of what a privilege it is to help people relocating to Denver find not just a house, but a place where they can truly plant roots and thrive in their next chapter. I'm admittedly 100% biased, but I think Denver is a great place to be! 🏡

List in the dead of winter to make the most money. Yup, that’s right. In Denver, putting your house up for sale in January, February, March, or April is a surefire way to make sure you sell for top dollar. 🏡⛄️

Why? The market actually peaked in April last year. There’s really low supply during the bleakest part of winter yet there’s high demand from buyers who are anxious to get out looking as soon as the holidays are over. 💥

All those buyers will be looking at your house because there aren’t a whole lot of other listings to look at. That’s what sets the stage for you to benefit from a possible bidding war - when multiple buyers are competing for your house, driving the price up.

They say you can’t time the market. But in this case, you can use what you know to position yourself for higher odds of success. 👏

The peak selling season of the year is right around the corner. There’s only so many homeowners who will actually listen though as it seems so counter-intuitive to sell in mid-late winter.

Realizing you’re over being a landlord but thinking you’d be insane to sell given the low interest rate you have on your mortgage? 😬 Well, guess what - owning a rental long-term isn’t for everyone. It’s okay to give up your rental once it’s no longer serving you and invest that money and energy into something that’ll serve you better. 🌞

That’s what my client, Megan, realized so she called me to help her sell her rental. We closed this week. Sold to her tenants and both parties couldn’t be happier. 🙌

Are you struggling with these conflicting thoughts?

👉 I’d be literally insane to sell my place given the crazy low interest rate that I may never be able to get again...but...I really don’t want to be a landlord anymore
