Let’s talk about it! 📣

💡It’s true that it is common for the Seller to pay the commission that pays both the Sellers Realtor & the Buyers Realtor. Why would this make sense?

- The Buyers Realtor is bringing the Buyer. They are actively involved in selling your house.

- If the Seller only paid the Sellers Realtor, and the Buyers paid their Realtor, this reduces the Buyers ability to buy the house.

- Most of the time, if the house doesn’t sell, you don’t pay. It is paid out of the Sellers proceeds at closing. They didn’t pay the Realtor when They Bought the House Their Selling (that Seller did).

💡Commissions are Always Negotiable. It’s illegal to price fix commissions. This is not a set rate & can be agreed upon between a Realtors Broker & the Client hiring them.
