After growing up in Cherry Hill, NJ, Alex Reber headed west to the University of Denver. During his senior year, Alex enrolled in an Introduction to Real Estate course, where he discovered his passion for the industry. In 2010 he graduated with a degree in Communications

with dual minors in Business and Sociology. A self-motivator, Alex continued his education and obtained his real estate license. Through his innate ability to network and bring people together, he began to build his business under the guidance of Madison & Company. On May 1, 1992 a new record was set for the highest price per square foot sale in Vail’s history. A home right next to the base of Vail at 345 Mill Circle sold for $6.15M which was the first home to ever sell for more than $1,000 per square foot in Vail. Last week, at the Legends of Vail event, we had the pleasure of hearing from Rocky Christopher and Craig Denton who were the developers and Realtors representing that sale. People at the time must have thought the buyer of that home was absolutely nuts paying a price that high in Vail. Fast forward 32 years and the most recent comparable lot sold in January of this year at 315 Mill Circle (which was last renovated in 2007 and sold ‘’as is’’) for $26,000,000!

Wondering who pays your homeowner’s insurance each year? If you have an escrow account, your lender will review it each year to ensure you have enough money in the account to cover the cost. If you do not have enough money in the escrow account you will receive a notification from the lender to make a payment to increase the reserves. If you have an account and haven’t received an email, you should soon from your mortgage company. This is an easy and stress free way to get your homeowners insurance paid! If you do not have an escrow account set up be sure to reach out to your insurance provider to pay your homeowners insurance this year!
