A Note from Ben Vestal: As we head into the end of the year, self-storage revenue is showing signs of improvement, but many owners are finding that controlling operating expenses is creating more value today than raising revenues. It is critically important that you are controlling your operating expenses in order to maximize your investment. Whether you are reallocating your real estate tax savings to marketing to fill the top of the funnel leads and maintain occupancy, or getting your drive aisles sealcoated before winter, controlling your largest operating expense (real estate taxes) will pay dividends!

A Full House in Reno for the @’s 2026 Client & Partner Event! ⚾

The Gorden Group and ARGUS, alongside co-sponsor Statewide CDC, brought together self-storage owners, clients, and industry partners for a day of connection, market insight, and appreciation.

The day kicked off with tours of Reno-area self-storage facilities, conversations about what we’re seeing in the market, and valuable time with clients and partners. We wrapped things up at the Reno Aces game, where turnout exceeded expectations and reached maximum capacity!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made Reno such a success. We’re grateful for the relationships we continue to build across the self-storage industry and excited for what’s ahead.
