This season our greetings may be similar to last year, but the sentiment is stronger. We have bonded, connected, collaborated, and expressed our appreciation for each other in deeper ways than ever before. This holiday season is extra special because we're holding the people we care about a little closer. The team at Majestic Bay feels the same way. We cherish those around us- at work and at home- and are grateful for another year with our family, friends, co-workers, residents, investors, and vendors. In that spirit, our offices will be closed from December 24th through January 2nd, and re-open on the 3rd. So from all of us here, and ! We hope they're "just right."

After what we've been through- the reunions, the homecomings, the hugs, the food, and the football will all take on a different meaning. The National Apartments Association and Apartments.com started this well-deserved recognition and appreciation of rental housing professionals, honoring those who have kept our communities together during the COVID-19 crisis. These onsite workers have committed themselves to perform the vital work necessary to keep our communities safe and moving forward during these challenging times. It's Independence Day! And what a perfect time to celebrate our patriotism and resilience as a country. Most years we'd look back on the history of our great nation achieving its "independence," but it's actually our more recent interdependence that should be recognized this year. We came together as a country to crush COVID-19, a world-wide pandemic, and though we're still dealing with this virus in many ways, we can acknowledge how far we've come and take pride in our accomplishments thus far. And thanks to all the vaccines, we can now also celebrate responsibly together- as friends, as families and as a community. We are excited to report that we broke ground on the construction of our new free-standing Leasing Office / Fitness Center at Majestic Bay, Des Moines, WA earlier this quarter. Providing the services and amenities that renters actually want and need is a critical element of our value proposition, and we believe we are accomplishing just that by replacing the previously unused basketball court at this property with a brand new fitness center and a new outdoor playground!

CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES!!! With the end of the school year upon us, New Standard Equities kicked off our "We Care" Campaign this past weekend, offering free graduation photos to the families in our communities. The accomplishment of completing school and graduating is no small feat- especially in light of world events making that a challenge for our younger generation and their families this year and last. After the year and a half we've had, Majestic Bay is especially grateful to those that have served in our armed forces and sacrificed their lives for our country & all the freedoms we enjoy. One of those freedoms is being able to live a safe, healthy & happy life. This weekend we honor our military communities & those that have served by coming together to celebrate them. And we appreciate our loved ones even more now that we can all be together again, thanks in no small part to the dedicated men & women of our armed forces. This year's Mother's Day will be like no other. After the year we've all had, we look to this weekend as a return to some semblance of normalcy; as a return to the warmth of our families. It will be a reunion, in some cases, for those who haven't seen or hugged their mothers since 2019. No matter what we've collectively experienced over the past 14 months, let's enjoy this Mother's Day with a newfound appreciation for all the moms in our lives. They deserve it, and we deserve to celebrate them. Happy Mother's Day from the NSE Family.
