Happy Tuesday,
It’s been awhile and I have so many new faces and people following along on my journey I thought I’d stop for a second and re-introduce myself.
My name is Emilie Keyes, I am a local realtor who lives in Prairie City; but I serve many of the surrounding counties and cities currently as far out as Ottumwa, and as close as well many in our small little community.
I have been in real estate since March of 2023, with a little bit of encouragement (you know who you are 😊 ) I took my first step outside of my comfort zone as a momma of three with two under two, a full time job and took a leap of faith on myself to explore something I’ve always wanted to do.
Fast-forward three years and it was the best thing that I could have done for myself, I am so much of a hands-on people person. I love meeting with my clients, I love getting to spend the whole process with them and if you’ve worked with me at all you know that I’m going the extra mile; whatever that may look like a last minute I’m actually busy but I know you love this house so let me get things covered and lets go!, a it’s 11pm but I’m slightly freaking out and need someone to talk to about it; I got you, lets talk this out, a spam me with 700 houses to look at because the pictures don’t do anything justice. My job is to be here for YOU, and that’s exactly what I thrive to do.
I also want to make it very known as an agent and the new real estate policies in place, if you’re signing a contract with me and you do not think we are a vibe (it can happen) my goal isn’t to hold you there hostage, I want it to be a pleasant experience for the both of us. You are not bound to me, something some should be very cautious about though, you want to see a home? It is now illegal for a real estate agent to show you a home without a signed contract, did you know that?
No question is ever a dumb question when it comes to real-estate, ask away, if I don’t know the answer.. I promise you I’m finding out the answer. Things change and I don’t know it all, there are also things that you may have questions to that are out of my line of work, but I have a slew of people in all different eras of work that would.
