This week has been an incredibly difficult week professionally. Working with other business owners and the businesses they are passionate about is an incredible gift to me. However, sometimes real wstatd deals you have worked on for months for your clients do not go as planned and its often out your control. It’s a tough pill to swallow.
That being said! I am so thankful for the fun Yule Book Flood hosted at the by our book club leader, ! This was the second year of this event and we added a potluck this year! Meeting new friends and connecting with old ones over books and food is a tradition that will never get old for me. Soo fun!
If you are curious about the background of the Yule Book Flood, look up the Icelandic tradition: Jólabókaflóð.
“As the story goes, each and every citizen of the remote, ultra-literary nation then gifts and receives books. After they unwrap presents with family and friends on December 24, they curl up with steaming cups of hot chocolate and read long into the subarctic night.“
Anywho, thanks for reading and thank you for being a part of my community. 🤎📚
P.S. ’s book club meets on the second Monday of every month and it is a treasure. Check us out on the Bookclubs app for more meeting info!
