These sweet angel babies drove all the way from Denver with a U-Haul in tow and arrived just in time to close on their first home in Iowa today!

Sara is from out west and Cole is from eastern Iowa, and although they’ve been living on the front range together for years, they decided that their next big adventure was in the Midwest.

They were already familiar with and thought it might be the right fit for them, but did their due diligence and checked out homes all throughout the metro. Everyone agreed that there was something different about one particular Beaverdale brick though, and after scoping it out a couple of times during a whirlwind weekend tour, they decided it was the one (Cole’s mom knew right away 😉).

It’s the one with the big front windows, a back yard with mature established landscaping and room for even more. The one with more than enough bedrooms to host guests and the perfect second floor double suite with space to live and work and maybe someday, space to share with more little roommates. 🥹

Sara and Cole found their next adventure with an unbeatable combination of open hearts, curiosity, questions and research and damn did they land in the exact right place for them. My resistance is to slow down and feel every drop of it.

This gal has packed a lot of life into the last couple of weeks: Alyssa graduated with her MBA from LSU and then flew home to close on her very first home today!

Alyssa told me she was nervous about what she didn’t know about buying a home.
