June is Cancer Awareness Month 💗 Looking at this picture, I can see that port.

What a reminder of a season I never imagined I would walk through. Today, I am forever grateful that I no longer have that port in my chest.

It’s amazing to think that once the needle was connected, that tiny port became the pathway for the treatments that flowed through my body. While the medicine did its work, I know it was the grace of God and the healing power of Jesus that carried me through every appointment, every treatment, every tear, and every victory.

I am forever thankful for the incredible doctors and nurses at Methodist Dallas Medical Center who cared for me with compassion and excellence. I am also grateful for my family, friends, and everyone who prayed, encouraged, and stood beside me during one of the most difficult seasons of my life.

Breast cancer changed my life, but it did not define my life. My faith grew stronger, my purpose became clearer, and my appreciation for each day became deeper.

God is still performing miracles, and I am living proof that He is faithful.

“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” — Psalm 34:1

Since 2024, I’ve gone through many transitions, and I’m inspired by the women around me who choose to keep moving forward and keep winning. As women, we face so many challenges—changes in our health, changes in our bodies, hot flashes, stubborn weight, aching bones, and seasons that test us mentally and physically. Yet we still show up for ourselves, our families, our careers, and our dreams.

We are forever evolving.

Looking at my snake plant this morning, I don’t just see a plant—I see a story.

I see strength. No matter how crowded the pot gets, every leaf keeps reaching upward toward the light.

I see growth. What started as one plant has multiplied into many, reminding me that when you’re planted in the right environment, growth is inevitable.

I see resilience. This plant has weathered seasons, changes, and challenges, yet it continues to thrive.

I see family. Each new shoot is connected to the same root system, growing together while still standing tall on its own.

And maybe that’s why this plant inspires me so much. It’s a reminder that life isn’t about how much space you have—it’s about what you do with the space you’ve been given.
