The people that have been waiting for 5 years on a crash so they can buy a house are experiencing even higher prices. No matter what happens the prices will be higher than 5 years ago. Its not about when you buy is about how you buy. Anybody that has made a purchase anytime before 2021 has seen a nice equity increase. That's an increase in wealth and net worth. I think people forget about that or just don't understand.

Future homeowners that are failing at qualifying for a mortgage need to consider reducing debt like car loans etc and increasing income through investing and starting businesses to have a more favorable debt to income ratio. Prioritizing is key when trying to get approved in times like these. Otherwise some might never qualify.

People are still buying so there is still a demand. Big corporations are buying houses and renting them out. Some people are afraid that they will never be able to afford to purchase.
