Planning a Destin trip this October?

The Destin Fishing Rodeo is back October 1–31, and it’s one of those local events that’s fun even if you’re not the one doing the fishing.

Every day from 10 AM–7 PM, you can head down to the docks behind AJ’s Seafood & Oyster Bar and watch the daily weigh-ins. It’s free to watch, and you never know what’s going to come in — everything from big king mackerel and grouper to marlin and other game fish.

It’s a pretty fun way to spend an afternoon in Destin, especially if you’re traveling with family or friends.

If you’re coming into town for the Rodeo, we still have vacation homes available in Destin.
