So many moving pieces go on behind every real estate transaction—and no two are ever the same. But every now and then, one comes along that you know you’ll never forget.
On the surface, this one looked “normal”… offer, counter, under contract, inspections, repair requests. But behind the scenes—it was anything but normal.
I navigated the start of this contract with a nasty fever and walking pneumonia, and wrapped it up with a broken humerus just under my shoulder… and let me tell you, there’s nothing humorous about that.
What could have felt like a heavy weight was completely lifted by two incredible parties. The sellers went above and beyond—far past the contract— impeccable details to repairs, a freshly cleaned home, and flowers waiting at the front door.
And the buyers—such a special couple—handled everything with excitement and grace (many miles away) ready to step into their very first home near the beach. New beginnings, new memories, and a place to call their own.
These are the moments that make everything behind the scenes worth it.
